Read all of my Monday Hour One posts here. It is a time management technique where you spend an hour on the first day of your workweek planning your week ahead. You would come up with a list of items you want to work on or achieve that week and fit them into your calendar. After listening to the podcast, I googled a little more and found this blog post by Tiffany Goyer explaining the process of the Monday Hour One technique in further detail.

Nothing will steal your dreams faster than not managing your time and not managing your relationship with yourself. Time management is a concept that we must understand and honor. Respecting our time brings awareness that allows us to live our lives with purpose and on our terms. We cannot control time, but we can manage and organize our minds around time. Here are few tips to help organize your thoughts around time. These tips are based on a process called Monday Hour One - what you would do the first hour on Monday to help manage your week. Step 1: Write down all the things you have to do for the week on a sheet of paper. Get them all out of your brain and out on paper. This is a brain dump that helps clear your mind. Step2: Mark the things that you choose to do, realizing that everything you do is purposeful and has meaning.

It takes into account your thoughts, feelings, actions, and results; not just your actions, like many other systems. What are the best uses for this strategy? What should I be looking at or asking team members to do with regards to adding tasks to calendar: deadlines work time, etc. I have 5 team members in house and they tend to set deadlines les en artikkel. The remote team 3 members tends to set hours and list what they are working on. Any suggestions or insights on how I can effectively use this time management process? It sounds like your team has a good start. Monday Hour One allows them time to set priorities with their time and plan exactly when they will be completing tasks that move projects forward.
